Decieved by the Chancelor, Anakin believed the dark side would unveil answers for saving people from death, even his beloved Padme. Ironically, in Anakin's attempt to save one life he managed to destroy many others and eventually the one he started out trying to save. Through this series of events we finally learn where Darth Vader came from, and how Anakin Skywalker was destroyed. While Padme still died giving birth to Luke and Leia, she managed to tell Obi Wan that there was still good in Anakin. We find in Jedi that she is correct, as Darth Vader destroys his master, Darth Sidious, to save his son Luke...
